Thank you to all who attended Pack 29’s graduation ceremony, picnic, and camping!! Another thank you goes out to the crew who put the whole thing together, Anastasia and Ray Attisano, Kim & Frank Fossa, and Torrie Wolfe. Great job!!
For those who missed out, here are a couple of items to be aware of – beginning July 1st, all Pack emails and announcements will be transmitted via a wordpress blog, https://pack29.wordpress.com/. Over the next 2 weeks, I’ll be loading all of the emails receiving this email today as “followers” of the blog. If you do not want your email added, let me know by Tuesday 6/4.
When I load your email, you will receive an email asking you to confirm that you want to follow the blog. Please confirm to continue to receive PACK information. Your den leaders will still provide you with information via email, this will only impact PACK emails. This will make managing the distribution list of 100+ emails easier, and allow you to add, remove, or change your email address online whenever you need to. It will also allow for multiple people to post, so our cubmaster, asst cubmaster, and camp director don’t have to wait for me to forward on their emails.
For a short time after you “confirm” your subscription, you may get emails directly from me and then duplicated via the blog. I promise there won’t be many, and after July 1 it will strictly be via the blog.
VOLUNTEER SLOTS
Great response to the volunteer slots for next year’s scouting program. If you weren’t able to attend or forgot to sign up, we still have lots of volunteer opportunities for you. Please let me know which slot your family will be filling – we are asking each family to sign up for at least one slot. There are 16 open slots and 13 families not signed up. Please let me know which slot you are able to fill for us.
REMEBER – IF YOU ARE A WEB 2 (Den 1) Parent, you need to sign up for a slot PRIOR to the March Pack Meeting as you will be receiving your Arrow of Light at the Blue & Gold.
