LAST CALL FOR CAMPERS!!

Hello Campers,

I would like to remind everyone that final camp payment is due May 1st, and anyone still interested in camp can contact me for more information.

Here are a few things I will need before camp:

1. All adults, not just leaders, need to take Youth Protection Training before camp here: http://www.myscouting.org After completing the course please print out the certificate and bring it me.

2. Everyone, adults and scouts, need to have the BSA Medical form filled out by a doctor within the last 12 months. You can find the NEW 2014 form here:

Click to access 680-001_ABC.pdf

Parts A and B are to be filled out by you (the parents), Part C filled out by your doctor.

3. Near the end of May or early June we will have our annual swim test and pre-camp meeting. Swim test is required for every scout every year. Parents who have taken the swim test before do not have to take it again, but parents who have not been to camp before must take the test. If your child does not swim they still must show up and get in the water, and don’t worry even if they do not pass the swim test they can still go in the pool at camp.

4. I need to know what T-shirts/Sizes you or your child needs for camp this year. We wear a different color shirt everyday. The colors are Sunday-Gold, Monday-Green, Tuesday-Red, Wednesday-Orange, Thursday-Grey, Friday-Blue. Youth Sizes are Medium and Large. Adult Sizes are Small Thru 3XL

Please if you do not absolutely need new shirts this year do not order them. This will help us keep our costs down.

I will have a sign-up sheet for T-shirts at the April Pack Meeting, but if you cannot make it please get this info to me A.S.A.P.

The pre-camp meeting is absolutely necessary for all first time campers. At the meeting I will hand out directions, packing checklist, and the t-shirts. If you cannot attend (once I have a date) please let me know so we can get together to go over this information.

One final thing if anyone has any diet concerns, food allergies or religious reasons please let me know. The camp has been very accommOdating in this respect over the years.

As always any questions or concerns please contact me directly.

Thank You,

Michael Delgado
