Hello Pack 29 Campers!
For those of you who missed the pre-Jambo meeting I have attached the packing list, directions, and Jambo schedule.
A few quick things to cover that will not be on the paperwork.
1. Follow the directions, do not follow your GPS
2. Eat before you come or pack a dinner for Friday night. We will not be providing the dinner.
3. We will be eating breakfast Saturday morning (egg scramble, cereal, milk, juice, etc). Lunch will be on your own. There are places to eat on campus as well as places a short walking distance from the campus.
4. We will be cooking dinner together back at the campgrounds (chuck wagon)
5. Bring your uniform for opening and closing ceremonies.
6. Bring a backpack and water bottle and pack everything you will need while walking around Saturday. The campgrounds are a little bit of a walk from the fun stuff, so you don’t want to waste time walking back and forth from the camping area.
7. Remember when packing your tent that we have a very small area that we are sharing with roughly 2000 more cub scouts so pack the smallest tent you can or partner up with some friends.
We need each parent attending to sign-up for a volunteer time slot. If you did not attend the pre-camp meeting, we assigned you a volunteer time.
