On Saturday morning (November 14th) please start your food collections early! Deliver all food to the church, where it will be weighed and transported to the Salvation Army Food Shelter for distribution to local Easton area families. Be sure to make a couple of passes through your neighborhoods – one early, then drop off the food, and drive the route again to catch any late sleepers!
Once your food is collected, we will be raking leaves around the church as a service project to show them how much it means to us to be able to use their facilities, grounds, and equipment. Bring rakes, blowers, gloves, etc and we should be able to knock this out in an hour if everyone helps out.
Webelos will take the food the the Salvation Army to unload and learn how valuable Scouting For Food is to our community.
