Ladies and Gentlemen…..START YOUR ENGINES!!
On Thursday, January 21st @ 630-730PM, we will have our Pinewood Derby TRIAL NIGHT at Arndt Church. This is a chance for you to bring in your car, run it down the track a few times, check the weight on the scales, and ask the race committee any questions you have. ONLY NEW CARS ARE TO BE BROUGHT. This isn’t time to bring in all of your scout’s prior year cars. This is a chance for parents and scouts to see how their new car reacts on the track, giving them time to make adjustments before the actual race.
RACEDAY is Saturday, January 23rd at Hope Lutheran Church. Plan to arrive between 2PM and 2:15PM for registration and weigh-in. NOTE the time change!!! Racing will begin as soon as all cars are registered. Please check the blog Saturday morning for updates regarding the meeting. With the expected snow, we may be forced to postpone or delay the event. If we do end up postponing the event, we will hold it Saturday January 30th at Hope Lutheran. Time to be determined.
