Hello Pack 29 Campers,
There are a few things we need to make sure we get done before we go away to Akelaland.
- Everyone, including adults, needs a medical form filled out by a Dr. within the last 12 months. We only need to fill out Parts A B C (form attached)
- All adults attending including parents who are not leaders need to make sure they go thru Youth Protection Training. Go to myscouting.org create a profile, watch the video, and take the quiz. All takes about 25 minutes and it’s relatively painless
- If you are a parent who is not a registered volunteer you will need to fill out the background check waiver. Where it asks for your BSA member number put N/A and in the position spot write parent.
- Every day at camp we all wear a different colored shirt. If it’s your first time camping, or you’ve grown out of your old set please let me know what size and colors you need. Please only order shirts if you absolutely need them. They are our most expensive part of the trip, and if we can save a little on shirts, we can spend a little more on fun. Please get shirt order in by April 10th so they can be ready for the swim test.
- Keep an eye out for the upcoming swim test at Palmer pool. I will try for the weekend of June 11-12. This is an absolute essential before we get to camp, and will also be our pre-camp meeting where I will go over packing, directions, times, and all other pertinent details.
- Please let me know about any food allergies. They camp is very helpful in trying to serve everyone as best they can.
As always if there are any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to contact me directly at kohlduny@hotmail.com
Thank You,
Mike Delgado
