Before I get into details of our Thanksgiving Pack meeting, I wanted to pass along some information regarding Mike and Tara Delgado. Mr. Delgado recently resigned as our Camp Director and Den 5 Leader. His wife Tara has been hospitalized since January. Mike lost his job and insurance while caring for Tara and the kids. They are in need of some assistance. Mike as setup a goFundMe to help offset some of the medical costs and other expenses they have incurred. We are 1 week away from our Thanksgiving Feast!! On Sunday, November 13th, at Arndt Church, we’ll once again celebrate Thanksgiving with our Pack families, immediately following our Pack Meeting. I have created a sign-up genius to help coordinate what everyone is bringing:

The Mina, Tarsi, Billing, and Edelman families are our volunteer leaders for this great event! If you are able to help out in any way, especially in setup or turkey preparation in the kitchen or cleanup, please let me know.
Each Den is asked to provide 1 turkey – PLEASE COORDINATE WITH YOUR DEN LEADER IF YOU ARE ABLE TO DONATE A TURKEY. Turkeys should be no larger than 15lbs, and be thawed, gutted, and delivered to the Church at 1PM in a foil pan.
Those able to help out with setup and food preparation should plan to arrive by 1pm.
3-4PM – New this year, a family touch football game. Come on out and spend some time exercising before gobbling down some turkey!
4-5:30PM – Pack Meeting – Bobcat Ceremony, Winter camping signup (1/8-1/10 @ Weytrex Cabin, Camp Minsi), Pushmobile Awards, Pinewood Derby car distribution, and 2016 Scout Year Registration
5:30-7PM – Dinner – Please bring your food in a full or half foil steam pan – these will be transferred to chaffing dishes upon your arrival (Label all utensils)
Web 2 – Den 7 – (Mr. Van Allen/Mr. Ramirez) – potatoes, stuffing or gravy (plan to feed 20 people). 1 Turkey
Web 1 – Den 6 – (Mr. Courtade/Mr. Fossa) – veggies or a side dish (plan to feed 20 people). NO POTATOES OR STUFFING!! 1 Turkey
Bears – Den 5 – (Mr. Mina/Cushman) – Each family will need to bring a rolls and butter (Plan to feed 20 people).
Wolves – Den 2 – (Mr. Edelman/Mr. Tyson) – Each family will need to bring either a veggie or a side dish (plan to feed 20 people). NO POTATOES OR STUFFING!! Try to coordinate so we don’t end up with 12 mac and cheese dishes! 1 Turkey
Tigers – Den 3 – (Mr. Brekne/Mr. Pape/Mr. Wiley) – desserts!!! (Plan to feed 20 people) 1 Turkey
