For all scouts who are not able to attend our Akelaland overnight camp, I want to make sure you know about the option for cub scout summer day camps.
Day camps are 8:30 AM-4 PM and provide a way for the kids to experience scouting activities and work on many of the same advancement requirements the kids will do at Akelaland.
The two closest camps are at Louise Moore Park (week of July 10) and Phillipsburg – Lopatcong township (week of July 24). I know at least 1 scout from Pack 29 is attending the Louise Moore camp.

Camps are $165 and you can register up until the day camp starts. There are also discounted fees if a parent volunteers at the camp. There is also a $25 pixie registration option to bring younger siblings with a parent volunteer. Parent volunteers require all the typical youth clearances.
