Pack Parents,
Just a reminder that our Blue and Gold Banquet is at 4 pm is this Saturday, February 24, at Hope Lutheran Church in Tatamy (same place we had the Pinewood Derby last month). Please have your scout dress in full class A uniform (hat, neckerchief, slide, and blue or tan shirt). Be sure to bring your tickets for admission.
In keeping with tradition, our Arrow of Light/Webelos II will be providing dessert. The desserts should have a Super Hero theme and be homemade by the scout and parents (fathers are encouraged). The top 3 desserts will win a prize.
If you have any extra or old scout uniforms, books, neckerchiefs, T-shirts etc, we will be starting a “re-purposing bin”. As your scout grows and changes rank, we’ll be collecting anything you don’t want to keep, and making it available to anyone else in the pack to use. Please bring any of your “no longer needed” scouting supplies to Blue & Gold and we will find a home for them.
Mr. Mina will be collecting $100 deposits to hold your spot at Akelaland Resident Camp. Please bring a check payable to Pack 29 to the meeting to hold your spot. Please see Mr. Mina’s blog post for more detail.
