Pack 29,

On Sunday, November 11, at Arndt Church, we’ll once again celebrate Thanksgiving with our Pack families immediately following our Pack Meeting. The Ramirez, Pape, Stackhouse and Brekne families are our volunteer leaders for this great event, but everyone is welcome to help out with setup, food preparation and clean up (plan to arrive by 1 pm if you plan to help with food preparation).

• 3:00-4:00 pm – Pack 29’s 4th Annual Family Touch Football game. Come on out and spend some time exercising before gobbling down some turkey!
• 4:00-5:00 pm – Pack Meeting
  • Bobcat Ceremony
  • Winter camping signup (1/11/19 to 2/13/19 @ Camp Minsi)
  • 2018 Scout Year Registration – $105 for Lions, Tigers, Bears & Webelos ($70 if your scout sold at least $100 of popcorn; $35 discount). Forms due back by our December Pack Meeting
• 5:00-7:00 pm – Dinner – Please bring your food in a full or half foil steam pan – these will be transferred to chaffing dishes upon your arrival (label all utensils and bring a power strip for crock pots).

For those bringing turkeys (see below), they should be roughly 15 lbs, completely defrosted, cleaned and brought to the church around 1 pm.  Our chef’s will prepare them and either deep fry or cook them in a trash can (delicious!).

We would ask each family to contribute the following items:

• Arrow of Light (Den 5 – Mr. Mina & Mr. Tarsi) – 1 Turkey and each family will need to bring veggies or a side dish (enough for approximately 20 people; NO POTATOES, STUFFING or MAC & CHEESE).
• Webelos & Wolves (Dens 2 & 1– Mr. Wolford & Mr. Van Allen) – 1 Turkey and each family will need to bring drinks or gravy (enough for approximately 20 people).
• Bears (Den 3– Mr. Brekne & Mr. Pape) – 1 Turkey and each family will need to bring potatoes, stuffing or mac & cheese (enough for approximately 20 people).
• Tigers (Den 7 – Mr. Mina) – 1 Turkey and each family will need to bring a dessert (enough for approximately 20 people).
• Lions (Den 4 – Mr. Mina) – 1 Turkey and each family will need to bring rolls and butter (enough for approximately 20 people).
