Minsi council offers several day camps throughout the summer.
There is one in Forks at Braden air park the week of June 17. These camps are 5 days, 8:30-4 pm. Cost for the Forks camp is $150, or $110 if an adult volunteer accompanies the scout. Other dates and sites are available for similar fees.
Day camp is a chance to work on scout skills and activities without the need for a full resident camp. While our Packs focus for summer camp remains on Akelaland, day camp can be great choice for younger scouts or those not attending for other reasons. Scouts are of course welcome to attend both day camp and resident camp.
This would be a great option for our current Lion scouts to consider.
