JAMBO is coming this Friday. We have most of the details available now from council. Read here for all you need to know. Links to all files that were handed out at the pre-camp meeting are included
Pre-arrival – Requirements
All adults camping overnight must have current BSA youth protection training completed. This takes 1-2 hours online. It is valid for 2 years. NO ADULT WILL BE ALLOWED TO CAMP WITHOUT VALID TRAINING.
Full How-to guide for taking youth protection training is at this link: https://i9peu1ikn3a16vg4e45rqi17-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/How-to-Guide-for-Taking-Youth-Protection-Training-3-1-18.pdf
BSA Medical forms part A and B are recommended. Bring them with you. You do not need part C for this event. Forms available at this link: https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/HealthSafety/pdf/680-001_ABC.pdf
Packing
Pack light! Campsite space may be limited. Use smaller tents if possible. The cars should not be too far away, you can keep the “just in case” items in a separate pack in your car.
Please bring your Class A uniforms for opening and closing ceremonies. Class B for all other times.
As always, no electronics, no toys of value to get lost, and good shoes (no open toed shoes, no sandals or crocs)

Food
Our cooking facilities are very limited, we can only use a propane grill. So we are keeping the food prep as simple as possible:
- Friday night: eat before you come or pack your own
- Sat breakfast: Mr. Pape’s fabulous breakfast sandwiches (better than McGriddles)
- Sat lunch: on your own – food service available at the University various locations
- Sat dinner: Pizza at our camp
- Sunday breakfast: cereal, milk, other cold items (donuts?) for quick eating and cleanup
- Some snacks from the pack will be available too (granola bars etc) but also feel free to bring some of your own.
