Some updates on our day trip for our frozen lake hike
The trip is ON but is DELAYED to Sunday Jan 31. The weather forecast for Saturday is extremely cold (wind chills around 0) – probably too cold for the kids to have a good time.
Sunday will be cold but better – current forecast is temps in the low 20s and light wind. So still plan to bundle up
One other change:
Let’s meet at the Sheetz near the “new” 33 interchange in Tatamy. Address is 100 Trolley Line Dr, Easton, PA 18045. This is more convenient and everyone can stock up on gas, coffee, and snacks before we go. Please plan to arrive at 9 AM at the sheetz – we try to all leave around 9:15 AM.
We are hoping to bring in a hot lunch of pizza after the hike. We’ll confirm before the trip – you can also pack your own food and snacks if you prefer.
