Hi Pack 29 – with warmer weather coming we are ready to pick up our Pack activities again in the near future.
The Pack is cleared to resume meeting in person again. All meetings will remain outdoors and masked.
Talk to your den leader about possible upcoming den meetings for advancements.
For the pack we have several events to announce. These will all be at Arndt’s in the outdoor areas. Exact times will be posted as we get closer to the events:
April pack meeting: April 25, mid-afternoon
Will feature a live animal education program from Pocono Wildlife Rescue. This is a great recruiting event! Feel free to invite friends interested in scouting.
May pack meeting: May 8 1 PM. Pinewood Derby!
Dust off those kits if you received them, or ask your den leader if you haven’t. Pinewood derby will be outdoors under the pavilion. Trial night – to test your car – Thursday evening May 6. Workshop to make first cut and get some advice – Sunday April 18 afternoon.
Memorial Day Parade: We don’t know if Easton is having it this year. If they do, it will be Monday May 31 and the pack would meet on Walnut st around 9:30 AM to march in the parade.
Pack Graduation, family campout, and AOL crossover: June 5-6
We will have some activities for the scouts Saturday afternoon June 5, a dinner provided by the pack, and a pack meeting featuring graduation to the next den, awarding of rank badges, and crossover ceremony for the AOLs who did not get a Blue and Gold this year. Family campout in the Arndt field night of June 5.
