Hello Pack 29 and welcome back from what we hope was a great summer. We’ve agreed to major dates on our calendar for much of the upcoming year. Please mark your calendars and more info will come out as these dates approach:
Sept 11-12 : Fall pack meeting and campout at Arndt’s. Recruiting event too, invite friends for Saturday afternoon.
Oct 14,15,16 – Wilson centennial fair at Mueser park. We will have a table with info about our pack, show and sell opportunities for the scouts to sell our fundraising meat sticks, and service project to help clean up trash. More info to come
Oct 17: Deadline to turn in Popcorn orders
Oct 23 – District Pushmobile (usually early AM). Teams will be organized and practices in late Sept and October.
Oct 30 – Halloween pack meeting at Arndt’s. Need parent volunteers!
Nov 6-7 – Scouting for Food flyers dropoff
Nov 13 – scouting for Food flyer pickup
Nov 13-14 – Webelos weekend at Arndt’s, for the AOLs, to meet and camp with Troop 29
Nov 14 – Thanksgiving pack meeting – at HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH (for more space)
NOTE: 2022 registrations and payments due at Thanksgiving.
Dec 4: Recharter (where we register all scouts and our pack for 2022)
Dec 5: Pack meeting at Arndt’s – with Toys for Tots donation
Jan 14-16 – Winter Cabin Camping
Feb 5-6 TENTATIVE special trip – camp overnight on the Battleship NJ in Camden NJ ( more info to come, signups start in September)
Feb 26: Blue and gold banquet. at Hope Lutheran.
Committee meetings are also planned. These are open to all parents:
