Our annual winter cabin camping trip is Jan 14-16 to be held at Camp Minsi. More details to be posted online but this event is about 45 mins away in a cabin which can fit about 19 scouts and 19 adults. Signups began at Thanksgiving pack meeting. The event is already half full!!!

ALSO many families have expressed interest in Battleship NJ campout. This is an event that was being arranged for Troop 29 but cubs are welcome to attend as well. Space is limited at this event.

This invitation is open to Troop 29, Pack 29, and Troop 2019 so signup soon or risk seeing the spots fill up. Campout will be Feb 5 2022 and costs $65 per person.
Cub Scouts must attend with a responsible adult.
PLEASE NOTE: Battleship NJ policy for campouts is that all attendees, adults and youth, must be FULLY VACCINATED WITH DOCUMENTATION AVAILABLE or complete a COVID test less than 72 hours before arrival. The ship will not allow you to board without this documentation and your fees will not be refundable.
This event includes a below decks tour of the World War 2 Battleship NJ, docked in Camden, NJ. Dinner and Breakfast are provided. Arrival to board the ship is 5 PM Sat Feb 5. Departure is late morning Feb 6, plan to be available to drive the scout home by 10 AM or arrange a ride with someone who is attending.
Scouts will be required to bring their own bedding including sheet, sleeping bag, pillow.
Instructions to pay are in the form. Registration will close when we reach capacity or by mid December, whichever comes first.
Note that Camden Adventure Aquarium is right next to the ship. I am investigating group rates but even if not possible as a group, families may want to plan Saturday at the aquarium before boarding the ship. More info to come on that…Any questions contact Chuck Mina 484-602-6862 or cam5b@yahoo.com
