Reminder to please join Pack 29 to march in the Easton memorial day parade.
Arrive 10 AM along Walnut St, between 6th and Locust (look for Dutchtown Park on Google Maps). Plan ahead, you will need to find parking and walk to our gathering point.
Plan for a wait as parade scheduled start time is not until 10:30 and there are sometimes delays, bring water/snacks as needed.
I recommend you approach from the west (13th st area) as the circle area will be blocked for the parade. You may want to have a driver drop you off then search for parking. You’ll need to hunt for street parking, search around the area of Walnut/Ferry/7th streets. Sometimes Northampton will have parking.
There will be some waiting, be sure to have some water.
Parade begins at 10:30 AM and marches down Northampton st to the river. After the parade, you may choose to stick around and watch the wreath ceremony which usually happens around noon.
Wear full uniform, parents and siblings are welcome and should wear Class B’s or red white and blue. You may bring wagons/strollers for little ones if needed, you can decorate them.
