The weather looks cool and comfortable with a slight chance of a passing shower so plan accordingly. Remember to bring chairs and some warmer clothes for the evening hours or if the breeze picks up.
With cooler weather we will not be having a water carnival but we will still do Tie-dying and have games in the field.
WATER ROCKETS ARE STILL ON! Try to bring some empty 2 Liter bottles if you have any.
Also – there is an event in the church Saturday – PLEASE PARK ALONG IN THE GRASS ALONG THE ROAD to leave the church lot free as much as possible.
This is a recruiting event so please attend if you can for a good showing and we need as many parents as possible on hand to keep an eye on things. When you arrive – if you can help supervise an activity please see a leader and we will put you to work!
Approximate schedule:
Leaders helping with setup can start to arrive around 2 PM.
Campers please setup starting around 3 PM, you can setup earlier if you want. Please be fully setup by 3:45 PM
4-6 PM – activities including Tie-dying, and games
6-7 PM – dinner with burgers/hotdogs / drinks by the pack and sides and desserts brought by our families
7-8 PM meeting with end of year advancements and graduation
8 PM – outdoor movie
10 PM – in tents/lights out.
Sunday AM – breakfast then clean up and depart by about 9 – 9:30 AM
