As part of our growing partnership with the PA Shakespeare Festival we would like to announce a program that your Cub Scout families can take part in. Attached is a flyer detailing a morning of Shakespeare at the Shakespeare for Kids play on Saturday, July 27th. This is a fun and interactive 1 hour play where 4 actors play multiple roles from a Shakespeare play and present it in a way that youth ages 4 to 10 can understand the story. I have seen these performances and found them to be a good deal of fun for the young and old.
As part of this show, the actors have agreed to spend time following the production with our families in a Q&A session to talk more about the theater, Shakespeare, and the play. This will help Webelos fulfill part of their requirements for the Showman Activity Badge.
