Pack 29,

This coming Saturday – February 27th from 4-8PM – is our Blue and Gold Banquet at Hope Lutheran Church (same place we had our Pinewood Derby). Our younger scouts receive their rank badges they’ve worked so hard on, and our Webelos 2 scouts receive their Arrow of Light, the highest achievement possible in Cub Scouts. Many of them will also cross over into Boy Scout Troop 29.

IF YOU HAVE NOT PURCHASED TICKETS, YOU MUST DO SO BY MONDAY FEB 22nd.

Please contact Kathy Tarsi at bktarsi@rcn.com or by calling 484-894-5920.  The cost is $8/child 5-12 and $12/adult 13+.

Please make sure your Scout wears his complete Class A uniform (shirt, hat, neckerchief) for this ceremony.

If you have any extra or old scout uniforms, books, neckerchiefs, T-shirts etc, we will be starting a “re-purposing bin”. As your scout grows and changes rank, we’ll be collecting anything you don’t want to keep, and making it available to anyone else in the pack to use. Please bring any of your “no longer needed” scouting supplies to Blue & Gold and we will find a home for them.

We will start our signups for Akelaland Summer Camp – Mike Delgado will be collecting $100 deposits to hold your spot at Akelaland. We’ll be at camp beginning on Sunday, July 17th through Friday, July 22th. “Mini” weeks are also available for those who can’t stay the entire week.

Never been to Akelaland? Don’t know what to expect or if your scout will enjoy it? Watch these Akelaland videos with your son and see for yourself!
