Just a reminder that this coming Thursday (Jan. 12th) from 6:30-7:30PM at Arndt Church we will have our Pinewood Derby Trial night. This is a chance for you to bring in your car, run it down the track a few times, check the weight on the scales, and ask the race committee any questions you have. ONLY NEW CARS ARE TO BE BROUGHT. This isn’t time to bring in all of your scout’s prior year cars. This is a chance for parents and scouts to see how their new car reacts on the track, giving them time to make adjustments before the actual race.
RACEDAY is Saturday, January 14th at Hope Lutheran Church in Tatamy. Plan to arrive between 1PM and 1:15PM for registration and weigh-in. Racing will begin as soon as all cars are registered. Scouts must be in full class A uniform in order to race.
On Saturday, we will have tickets for sale to the Blue & Gold dinner. Tickets are $8 for scouts and siblings 5-12 and $12 for adults. Kids under 5 are free.
Also, Saturday winter cabin camping payment and, for adults, PA ACT 15 clearances are due. We need payment from the following families: Blair, Makoski, and Wolford. ACT 15 clearances from: Duffy, Glick, Makoski, Stanski, Cushman
