We’ve got a big weekend

Tomorrow (saturday Nov 13) dens are meeting to pickup scouting for food donations. Follow instructions of your den leader as to where to meet, most dens are meeting at 9 AM and bringing all food back to Arndt’s church. Weather permitting food will be sorted and weighed and scouts can help rake leaves at the church for a service project.

Sunday will be our Thanksgiving pack meeting:

Thanksgiving Pack Meeting, Sunday 11/14 3-5pm
Hope Lutheran Church
240 S 8th St, Tatamy

Meeting will include some outside game/craft time and indoor meeting. Masks required indoors.

In lieu of our Thanksgiving feast we are going with just desserts this year. Bring a dessert to share for about 12-15 people. Please only immediate family to attend, we need to keep the numbers down for distancing in the hall.

You’re encouraged to bring a homemade dessert, a family favorite dessert or a traditional dessert. Desserts may include, Pies, cookies, pastries, fruit tray, etc. Please label your dessert and put your name on your dishes or serving utensils.

Scouts should come dressed to be outside. Then they’ll be given time to change into their class A uniforms for the meeting, which will be followed by dessert. Advancements from minicamp and any den meetings will be awarded. We will also have our Bobcat ceremony, recognizing the scouts that have earned this achievement. During dessert you may remove your mask with family while maintaining 6’ distance to eat or if weather allows, you may head outside to enjoy your desserts.

Also, 2022 registration forms are due!! You can print and bring it yourself or complete it at the meeting. If you wish to continue scouting in 2022, registration and payment is due by our November pack meeting (November 14). If you wish to supplement your payment with scout account funds, please see your den leader for that amount.
