We are watching the weather for this weekend but are still hoping to proceed with Saturday’s activities. The weather is calling for what looks like occasional light rain throughout Saturday. Sunday afternoon looks worse, so we do not want to delay the event, as we know many families are carrying on with summer vacation plans in future weekends.
We have the pavilion and the church basement in case of severe weather. Please “be prepared”! Bring rain gear and clothing suitable for what looks like low 70s, overcast, and light rain.
We will adapt the activities, meal, and campout as needed. Overnight campout could be cancelled if there is a forecast for thunderstorms. Otherwise, we will carry on and pack up in the morning before Sunday’s more severe weather hits
Please remember to RSVP as we will shop for cookout food tomorrow.
SCHEDULE
Anyone camping out can arrive early to setup gear. Parents helping with activities please plan to be setup before 4 PM
Activities 4 – 5:30 PM – MAY BE ADJUSTED DUE TO WEATHER
-games in the field (volleyball/kickball),
-Water rockets are back! Bring an empty 2 liter bottle (decorate if you want)
other activities/crafts TBD
5:30 PM – dinner. Pack will provide burgers and hot dogs. Please bring a side and/or dessert to share.

7 PM pack meeting,
