Attention AOLs! Can you believe that less than 5 months we will have our 2023 Blue and Gold and you will be completing your time in cub scouting?
The good news is we have troops ready to accept the scouts into BSA so they can start new adventures.
BSA troops are separated into boy and girl troops.
Girls Troop 2019 The closest girls troop is 2019 based at St. Pau’ls church on Newburg Rd (near the Palmer municipal center). Troop 2019 is having an open house / new scout campout THIS WEEKEND. If you know any girls considering BSA please pass along this info – you can contact Mr. Mina with questions (cam5b@yahoo.com):

Boys Troop 29
Troop 29 is based right at Arndt’s church and has an open house November 12-13. Activities begin about 2 PM Saturday Nov 12. Parents should plan to attend for an information meeting while the AOLs do activities guided by the older scouts – including pumpkin launches with a scout-made slingshot! Evening will feature scoutmaster cookoff with dinner provided by many former scoutmasters. Breakfast on Sunday AM will also be provided. Please consider your plans and RSVP to your den leader (Mr. Brekne) and the Troop 29 scoutmaster Mr. Blair know your plans. They will need a headcount for adults and scouts attending, and who plans to stay for dinner and campout. Please decide and respond by our Halloween pack meeting on Oct 29.
