Calling all Pack 29 Scouts!
It’s time for the main event – the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Join Pack 29 at Hope Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 22nd, from 2 PM – 4 PM for the premier scouting event of 2025!
Please be sure to arrive no later that 2 PM. Each derby car will be weighed in (cars must weight no more than 5 oz.) and inspected for rule compliance (rule sheet attached below for download) during the registration period. The racing will begin promptly 2:15 PM.
Once the car has been submitted to the registration table, it may no longer be altered.
Pack 29 will have a graphite station setup for that last-minute speed prep, as well as pliers for re-setting axles. (Pro-tip: If your axles are loose, place a drop of glue in the axle slot/on the axle nail before race day)
Otherwise, your derby car should be completely built and ready to race when you arrive at Hope Lutheran Church.
Parent/Guardians interested in Volunteering: If you’d like to help with track assembly, please meet the Derby Crew at Hope Lutheran Church after 12:30 PM.
We will also need volunteers to help with registration and other administrative tasks during and after the race. If you’d like to help, please check-in with the Derby Crew at the registration table on event day.
