Troop 29 will be hosting a pre-camp Scouting America swim test at the Palmer Pool, on Saturday, June 13th, and is extending the opportunity to our Pack 29 and Troop 2019 Scouts & Scouters.
This is a great opportunity to attempt/complete the test in advance of camp. Those unable to attend or unable to complete the test will have an additional opportunity upon arrival at summer camp.
There is no cost to our Scouts for this activity. Those attending should arrange transportation to and from the pool.
If you plan on attending, please complete the sign-up form here no later than 10:00 pm Thursday, June 11, so we can help pool staff properly prepare for our group size.
The Pool Manager has requested that all participants arrive no later than 9:15 am at the Palmer Pool. Testing will begin promptly at 9:30 am.
For logistical reasons, the pool cannot guarantee the opportunity to complete the test if you don’t tell us in advance that you are coming!
